Shane Ward

Shane supports grant investigations and donor engagement across Longview’s programme on nuclear weapons policy. Before joining Longview, he worked on regulatory and procurement issues in the defense and aerospace sector with several strategic advisory firms, including DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group. His prior research and work have focused on how emerging technologies could impact nuclear deterrence and strategic stability, wargaming Indo-Pacific escalation scenarios, and NATO allied burden-sharing. Shane holds an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service and a BA in Politics from Bates College.
