Dr. Max Hoell
Max conducts grant investigations for the nuclear weapons policy program. His prior work spanned nuclear deterrence, arms control, non-proliferation, and the impact of emerging technologies on nuclear matters. Previously, Max worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and as a senior policy fellow at the European Leadership Network. He also held academic positions at Université Paris Dauphine – PSL, London campus, and Northeastern University London. Max earned a PhD in international relations from University College London, a postgraduate diploma in international nuclear law from the University of Montpellier, an MA in nternational relations from the London School of Economics, and a BA in modern languages from the University of Oxford.
