
Dr Max Hoell
Max conducts grant investigations for the nuclear weapons policy programme. His prior work spanned nuclear deterrence, arms control, non-proliferation, and the impact of emerging technologies on nuclear matters. Previously, Max worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and as a senior policy fellow at the European Leadership Network. He also held academic positions at Université Paris Dauphine – PSL, London campus, and Northeastern University London. Max earned a PhD in International Relations from University College London, a postgraduate diploma in International Nuclear Law from the University of Montpellier, an MA in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford.
