Ajay leads Longview’s grantmaking on AI security: preventing the theft, sabotage, and self-exfiltration of frontier AI systems. Before joining Longview, he helped build the AI security team at the RAND Center on AI, Security, and Technology, where he co-authored Securing AI Model Weights and advised US government partners on securing frontier AI. He is also a board member at Intelligence Security Laboratories. He previously worked on biosecurity at Coefficient Giving, on machine learning infrastructure for biotechnology at Amazon’s moonshot lab, and as co-founder and CTO of a hardware startup with customers from NASA to Fortune 500 companies.
